The Eagles Landed at WBU!

Our friend Franklin from Carbon County Environmental Education Center visited us once again, this time with two gorgeous live eagles.

The first to visit with us was a 23 year old Golden Eagle who was rescued by the Center when she was a year and a half old. She was very talkative as Franklin told her story.

The second was a Bald Eagle, also 23 years old, who was rescued the same week at the Golden Eagle. She was not a talker, but she gave us a show by spreading her wings several times for us.

Check out the photos from this free event, and be sure to visit our website and follow us on Facebook for information on our upcoming events.

Golden Eagles are rare in PA, so we were lucky to meet her!

Rennie the Bald Eagle put on a great show for our guests!
